Pringles chips tore a bit?

After shopping at HEB i decided to eat some chips that i bought. The pringles can of chips i bought was tore a little at the peel off layer. Not wanting to waste money i just went ahead and ate them im wondering was that little tear just some mechanical mistake and will this make me sick?
